COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN? YAY!
...we are happy to have you!

Where to Stay in Wilmington:
Come stay in Wilmington!
We’re a cute little port city with a really fun, walkable historic downtown, great restaurants and a beautiful riverfront, so you can absolutely turn the Roundtable into a little overnight trip (or convince a girlfriend to come with you and make a weekend out of it!).
And the logistics are EASY. Wilmington International Airport is just a few miles from downtown, and Cape Fear Country Club is a short drive or Uber ride away too. You do not necessarily need to rent a car, study a complicated map, or pack provisions for an expedition.
We recommend staying downtown, coming in the night before if you can, having a great dinner, joining us for the Roundtable the next day and making a little trip out of it. We’ll add a few of our favorite hotel and restaurant recommendations here too, because we want your trip to feel as easy as possible.
STAY DOWNTOWN
The Embassy Suites Wilmington Riverfront and Hotel Ballast are both right on the Cape Fear River and give you easy access to the Riverwalk, restaurants, shops, and everything in historic downtown Wilmington
OR...STAY ON AN ACTUAL HOUSEBOAT
Yes, seriously. The Cove Riverwalk Villas are floating villas right on the river in downtown Wilmington, and several have two bedrooms, kitchens and outdoor decks overlooking the marina. Grab a girlfriend (or a few!) and stay ON the water instead of beside it. Most vacation rentals require a minimum stay, so this is an especially fun option if you’re making a couple of nights out of the trip.
...OR PUT YOUR TOES IN THE SAND
If you really want to make a beach trip out of it, Wrightsville Beach is a little farther from the event but still totally doable. We’d recommend Trailborn Surf & Sound or the Holiday Inn Resort Lumina on Wrightsville Beach. Both are right on the ocean, so you can wake up, walk outside and put your toes in the sand before coming to hang out with us.
