Debbie Lariviere.jpg

Debbie Lariviere

After 10 years of working in the sports medicine industry, I obtained my real estate license because I was investing in real estate and I wanted to have a deeper understanding of the market. At the time I thought I would get into real estate “part-time” while continuing to work in Sports Medicine. Well, part-time isn't in my vocabulary. I began my real estate career in 2002 as an independent agent, hired administrative staff, and built a team of agents with a business partner where we closed 35+ million in sales. By the end of 2007, while pregnant with my 3rd daughter, my husband and I decided to move from Orlando, FL to Wilmington, NC. At this time, being a "Mom" took precedence so I worked towards obtaining my NC real estate licence while helping a friend launch a private Physical Therapy Practice. In ramping up my career in Wilmington, NC I ran a large sales team and was the listing specialist while simultaneously growing a national real estate firm. In 2014, I was elected to the Wilmington Board of REALTORS and served for 4 years. By December of 2014, I officially took the role of Office Manager/CEO for the national firm and was in this role until December of 2017. In that time, I recruited over 300 agents and grew a very successful and profitable office. In 2017, after an extensive evaluation of my “what’s next?” I knew my calling was to become more focused on agent and leadership development. In January 2018, I partnered with Bill Middleton in launching Middleton Elite Coaching. Through MEC I can live out my passion of playing an active role in the growth of businesses by implementing proven systems to achieve their desired levels of success!

Janet Gray.jpg

Janet Parris-Gray

Janet’s real estate career began as a necessity and more importantly, a huge life decision to live the best life possible after the tragic loss of her husband. Real estate gave her flexible work hours with the income potential she needed as a single parent. She is experienced in residential, development and new construction sales. She helped numerous investors with buying and selling residential-commercial properties and rehabbed several houses of her own. Janet launched her own office in 2007 and the agents followed her. In 2014 she joined Allen Tate Realtors as a Branch Leader. The office grew exponentially in agent-office production and recruitment. Her passion for the community was shared as a two-time regional director and on to company-wide chair for Tate Cares. Her team raised the largest amount of company donations to date for Tate sponsored charities. The local REALTORS’ association asked her to serve her industry as chair of every committee, elected her to every leadership position including President of HPRAR and HPMLS and President elect of Triad MLS. She served as board of director for NC Realtors and Secretary of Triad Real Estate Building Industry Coalition. Her peers presented to her the coveted Realtor of the Year and Broker-Owner of the Year awards. Janet remembers life challenges that threatened her way of life and offers the lifeline to others in crisis. She worked with NC Realtors to win grant money to place a family in need into a new home. She also used her company marketing team to share national recognition and marketing tools for the Family Crisis Center. She helped write curriculum for financial literacy used in Guilford County schools. A dream came true when she was given the opportunity to move to the NC Coast to join Intracoastal Realty’s leadership team. With 25 years in the industry, she is the Broker in Charge for the Barclay Pointe office in Wilmington, NC. For those who know her, they experience her passion for mentoring agents with the tools to grow personally, professionally and serve the public well. Janet’s other passion is her family. She enjoys the beach, swimming, scuba diving, world travel, reading, and singing. She lives in Wilmington with her love Dennis and cherishes time with her daughter Leslie, her husband, Shane and grandson, Declan.

Brandi Taylor

I'm not what you may expect me to be. I am married to a super - funny, tech genius. We have two girls, both growing faster than I am able to believe. I grew up lower middle class in a huge metropolis in Texas, and immediately joined the US Army to see what adventure it would bring, and it definitely delivered. Jumping from airplanes, repairing HUMVEEs and 5 Ton trucks, I learned so much about myself along the way. I saw outstanding leadership, I saw what true brotherhood and loyalty looked like, and I learned how deeply I can rely on myself to accomplish anything I decided to do. I attended NC State University and got my degree in Animal Science. I love data and evaluation of information. I spent a decade in Cancer Research searching for new therapies. When it was time for a change, I wanted to find a path that led me towards the things I loved to do, and left lots of room for learning and growth. Here we are, years later with so many wonderful experiences. I have helped countless families with buying homes and selling homes. I have been privileged to lead hundreds of Advisors with Better Homes and Gardens Paracle to a successful career. It's been an amazing experience so far, and I am excited to see what new adventures lie ahead. There is so much left to be done, and I am excited to be part of it all. Oh, and I love a good muscle car.

Melissa Tyson

I am a wife, mother and a Goldsmith jewelry designer. Creating jewelry is a constant journey of joyful exploration! For me making art was always my favorite thing to do even from childhood.... It wasn't until Art School in college that I took my first Metalsmithing class and as soon as I touched the metal I knew that was what I wanted to do. Studying Metalsmithing at East Carolina University, Montana State University and in Italy. I had various apprenticeships with a famous Italian Goldsmith Lisa Sotilis (she owns DeChirico's Sculpture Collection), Montana blacksmiths, swordsmiths (yes, you read that right!) and lapidary artists. Ultimately, receiving a BFA in Metal Design. After that began my own business and have been happily making jewelry for the last 20 years. I love what I do and I hope to design something for you! For the past 9 years, I have been Designing and Consulting for Made By Survivors, and great non-profit giving Women a new means to make a living after being rescued from a life of Human Trafficking. Check them out MadebySurvivors.com Magazine publications: Vogue, Brides, The Knot, Style Me Pretty, Grey Likes, Inspired By This, Once Wed, Magnolia Rouge, Ruffled, Folk, Wedding Chicks and more. Published in the book: RELEVANT NATION 40 artists/activists under 40 changing the world, Jewelry Designer for numerous Feature Films, and Jewelry Designer for 50th Anniversary Piece for Amnesty International. The importance of "greening" my studio has become even more important after having our 3 kids under 9 years old! So, now I am striving to apply the most environmentally friendly practices including the use of recycled gold and the least toxic studio chemicals. For 20 years I have been taking the scraps and melting, molding, and hammering them into a new forms, recycling and transforming. Craftsmanship to me is about excellence but not perfection; by leaving small marks of the work-process of forming, forging and soldering the hand-made quality of crafting remains visible. A reminder that our human flaws and imperfections are engulfed with beauty, yet real.
