Women In Leadership Workshop

Leadership doesn’t always start with a big title or a promotion at work. Sometimes it starts when someone taps you on the shoulder and says, “I think you’d be really good at this.” And sometimes it starts when you decide to raise your own hand.

Join Faison Gibson, Sabrina Davis and Stephanie Lanier for a candid conversation about one of the best ways we know to become a better leader: actually getting in the room and doing the work. Nonprofit boards, government commissions, civic organizations, faith communities, PTOs, and community initiatives and committees all offer women opportunities to build the muscles of leadership in the real world. You learn by doing: making decisions, navigating the difficult conversations, working with people who don’t always agree, delivering results, and realizing along the way that you’re more capable than you thought.
